In 1845, Carl Rönisch began building his own instruments, initially with just a few employees in a small workshop. His company philosophy: high sound quality with a rock-solid, durable construction. This was the birth of the famous Rönisch instruments, which from then on carried the big name around the world. In 2009, the company merged with the Julius Blüthner piano factory, where, to this day, Rönisch instruments are handmade under the strict quality control of the Blüthner family.
