Pedro Casals

First place winner of the Blüthner Piano Competition in Madrid - 2002. Pedro Casala began his piano education when he was five years old. Until the year 1998 he had been taught by the Madrilenian pianist Carmen Deleito. Afterwards he continued his piano studies in the “Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid” with the professor Mr. Joaquin Soriano and finished with best marks. The spanish piano player has performed in various national and international concert halls like in the “Audiorio Nacional de Música de Madrid” (2002) or in some spanish embassies during his tour through Africa (2003). He has been recorded for Radio Clásica in 1996 and 2005 he also realized some recordings for different television channels such as Canal Autonómico de Castilla - La Mancha, Extremadura T.V, Canal Sur and T.V.E. He is also completing the studies of doctorate and the History and Science of Music Degree in the “Universidad Autónoma de Madrid”.
